BlackBox Launcher Software Update

(For use on Android operating systems only)

Instructions

 

1) Move the Android tablet within range of a Wi-Fi connection or mobile hotspot and connect to the internet.

2) In the current Launcher screen press Show Apps.

​

3) Find and open the Browser app.

​

4) Press in the Address bar at the top and type bbcore.uk and press Go

​

5) Press on Click here to install the BlackBox Launcher and wait for the download to finish.

​

6) Press the BlackBoxLauncher.apk download at the top of the list (It may have numbers after it if an earlier version has been downloaded to this device before) ***You may need to swipe down from the top of the screen to see the downloads***

7) Follow the installation process as normal and once the install is complete press Open to relaunch the software.

​

 

***If you have a 'Installation Blocked' message appear please follow these steps***

 

a) Press OK to close the message and then Done.

​

b) Press the home icon to return to the Launcher and press Show Apps then OK.

​

c) Locate and press the Settings icon (Google Settings on older tablets).

​

d) In the settings menu locate and press on Google > Security (Just press Security on older tablets).

​

e) Locate the 'Scan device for security threats, option and turn it off.

​

f) Press on the Home icon to return to the Launcher and press Show Apps then OK.

​

g) Locate and press the Downloads icon and then press the BlackboxLauncher.apk as in step 6), to start the install again.
