Farmers of Scotland!! Future Farming Investment Scheme opening soon

As the applications for the Grant scheme in England come to a close, the Future Farming Investment Scheme (FFIS) for Scotland opens.
From the 14 July 2025 until 22 August 2025 Scottish farmers will be able to apply for upfront funding to help cover the cost of the capital investment that meet at least one of the schemes objectives, which are:-
improve business efficiency and sustainability
protect, restore or enhance the environment
reduce greenhouse gas emissions
mitigate the effect of climate change
Patchwork Technology offer a number of products within it's BlackBox and SimplySteer system ranges that are eligible in meeting the objectives of the FFIS scheme, some of which include :-
Autosteering systems incl. electric motor based GPS autosteering
Variable rate controller for sprayers and fertiliser spreaders (retro fit)
The BlackBox Marine Variable Rate Kit could also be used in conjunction with 'Fertiliser spreader designed for integration with GPS guidance systems, supporting variable rate application, headland automation, and border spreading functions'; 'Seed drills (with variable rate control/GPS ready/section control)' and 'Sprayer designed for integration with GPS guidance systems, supporting variable rate application and automated section control'.
