FETF Grant - Opening for applications 17th March 2026

Great news for farmers, growers and land managers across England as DEFRA have announced the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) grant scheme for 2026.
Opening for applications on the 17th of March, the grant is for businesses to invest in equipment, technology and infrastructure to increase productivity. The FETF has three grants to help buy items that improve productivity, manage slurry and improve animal health and welfare.
Patchwork offer a number of products that qualify for the improve productivity section of the grant for following categories:-
FETF46 - GPS light bar
BlackBox Air - starting from £1200 + vat with a grant value of £323 against the cost.
FETF47 - Assisted steer system (retro fitted for older tractors)
SimplySteer - starting from £4500 + vat with a grant value of £764 against the cost.
FETF50 – Retro-fitted Variable rate controller for older seed drills, sprayers and fertiliser spreaders
BlackBox Marine Variable Rate Kit - starting from £2750 + vat with a grant of 40% against the cost, saving £1100 on the base model.
BlackBox Marine Section Control Kit for Hardi Sprayers – starting from £3350 + vat with a grant value of 40% against the cost, saving £1340 against the based model.
